CUNA Tech Council Names its Executive Committee

PHOENIX—The CUNA Technology Council has named its 2017-2018 Executive Committee following the joint annual conference it hosted with the CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council.

The CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee includes:

  • Mike Atkins, chair, CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee and chief information officer, Bellco CU and, CEO, Open Technology Solutions, Centennial, Colo.
  • Chris Saneda, vice chair, CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee and executive vice president, technology and digital innovation, Virginia CU, Richmond, Va.
  • George Rudolph, second vice chair, CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee and senior vice president, operations and technology, Alliant CU, Chicago
  • Samantha Amburgey, chief information officer, Michigan State University FCU, East Lansing, Mich.
  • Brad Aspgren, senior vice president, technology and innovation, American Airlines FCU, Fort Worth, Texas
  • Alex Barker, senior vice president/chief information officer, Mountain America CU, West Jordan, Utah
  • Caroline Martorano, director operations/support, Baxter CU, Vernon Hills, Ill.
  • Kristina Hanson, vice president, information technology, Inspirus CU, Tukwila, Wash.;
  • Heather Moshier, executive vice president, information technology, San Diego County CU, San Diego
  • Fernando Ortega, senior vice president/chief information officer, GECU, El Paso, Texas
  • Idrees Rafiq, assistant vice president, information technology consulting, Credit Union Resources Inc., El Paso, Texas
  • Todd Richardson, senior vice president/chief information officer, Y-12 FCU, Oak Ridge, Tenn.

Guy Russo, chief information officer, CommunityAmerica CU, Lenexa, Kan., who has served as chair for two years, is stepping down but will remain on the executive committee through 2018 to complete his full term, CUNA noted.

Linda Barker, vice president/information technology, Greater Nevada CU, Carson City, Nev., Ben Morales, chief technology and operations officer, Washington State ECU, Olympia, Wash., and Bobby Matthis, vice president, information technology, Westerra CU, Denver, are stepping down after each completing a three-year term. Todd Richardson was re-elected to his second term, CUNA noted.
