CHESTERFIELD, Mo.— NewGround has launched Studio One25, a design group it said specializes in creating dynamic retail and corporate environmental solutions that enhance the overall experience and drive business results.
“Based in Chicago, Studio One25 immerses clients in a cutting-edge think tank, called the iLab, to guide them through a proprietary process in the development of an environmental and retail communications strategy,” NewGround said. “As part of the Chicago experience, clients also tour some of the trendiest retail and technology stores in the country along Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and visit the Chicago Merchandise Mart to spark clients’ creative thinking to integrate these experiences and design trends into their retail and corporate workplace solutions.”
The Studio One25 Team analyzes the “brainstorming and experience walk” by integrating clients into design concepts that enhance consumer and employee experiences, the company said.

One FI’s Experience
As one of Studio One25’s initial environmental clients, Farmers State Bank in West Des Moines, Iowa engaged the Studio One25 Design Team to create a dynamic environmental solution that would reflect the bank’s refreshed brand identity. The Studio One25 designers held a “discovery” session with the bank to create the environmental design strategy to align the bank’s brand with their new prototype, NewGround said.
This new 3,000-square-foot prototype features an open plan, universal banking retail platform and includes bright exterior windows with branded graphics to engage customers as they approach the new branch. As customers step inside the 24-hour ATM vestibule, they are welcomed with additional wall and window graphics. Entering the branch, customers see a graphic wallcovering with change-out local photography that highlights community involvement, along with privacy vinyl on the private offices with branded accent graphics. In addition, marketing communications were designed for each private office to showcase products and services, and a movable fabric-wrapped customer service podium stands to reinforce their brand, NewGround explained.
