MARIETTA, Ga.–It’s tax day, a day on which many taxpayers find themselves getting heated. To help them cool off, Georgia's Own Credit Union is offering a free Tax Day treat: 850 King of Pops popsicles for a limited time at its Marietta branch at 401 Cobb Parkway, as well as its Woodruff Park location in downtown Atlanta.
The credit union said its financial advisors will also be available at both locations to provide financial guidance, including advice for paying an unexpected tax bill as well as tips for spending and saving money from a tax return.
The 850 popsicles also commemorate Georgia's Own Credit Union's 85th anniversary and the organization's year-long "85 Acts of Kindness" campaign.
The $2.4-billion Georgia’s Own CU has approximately 183,500 members.
