CUES Announces Its New Membership Benefits Now Available to All

MADISON, Wis.— CUES has announced its new membership benefits are now available to the credit union community.  As reported earlier, in July CUES announced a restructuring of its membership and benefits.

“Based on member feedback, the new memberships are designed to better serve in educating and developing credit union CEOs, executives, directors and future leaders,” CUES said.

There are three membership tiers to choose from for both staff and directors—Individual, Unlimited and Unlimited+. One of the first credit unions to subscribe to the Unlimited+ membership was SEFCU, Albany, N.Y., CUES said.

“As a long-standing member of CUES, SEFCU has offered a variety of learning and development opportunities to our board members and executives,” said SEFCU President/CEO Michael J. Castellana. “We are pleased to now be able to provide these outstanding resources to even more of our staff.”

According to CUES, all of the newly redesigned membership benefits are now available, including:

  • CUES Learning Portal, powered by Degreed. A blend of pre-set learning pathways and curated content offer all users an easy way to expand their skill set
  • CUES Elite Access Virtual Classroom courses. An innovative take on online learning, that is closer to a live experience than ever before.
  • Center for Credit Union Board Excellence (CCUBE). An in-depth, digital learning system that provides deep director competency training only available at the Unlimited+ tier.

Other benefits include CUES event discounts and a subscription to the industry-leading Credit Union Management magazine, the association said.

“I’m pleased credit unions are already seeing the value in our new membership structure,” said Jimese Harkely, CUES’ VP/Membership, in a statement. “Strengthening our membership benefits helps our members cultivate their skills and the skill of their team; which ultimately helps retain great employees, grow each credit union, and fortify our industry as a whole.”

CUES said the new membership benefits are available now, but the official membership start date is not until Jan. 1, 2019, meaning new members get up to 15 months of benefits for the price of 12.
