GRANVILLE, N.Y.–After tripling its assets over the last six years, Great Meadow FCU here said it is converting to the core solution offered by CUProdigy.
“As we continued to grow, we realized we need a core that can make us more efficient and help us save money instead of spend more money,” said GMCU CEO Ryan Roberts said.
Great Meadow will go live with CUProdigy’s cloud-based core system on Feb. 1, 2018.
“In addition to the money we’ll save with CUProdigy’s dollar-per-member pricing, we’ll also be able to eliminate some third-party products, thanks to functionality that’s built right into the core,” added Roberts. “This will allow us to give back to the members in greater dividends or in investments in additional products and services.”
All totaled, Roberts said he expects the credit union to save 7.5-10% in expenses by switching to CUProdigy. Because the CUProdigy core is API-driven and the CUSO doesn’t charge for third-party integrations, Great Meadow will save even more as it brings on new products, the CUSO said.
“It’s exciting to bring a growth-oriented credit union like Great Meadow into the CUProdigy family,” said CUProdigy CEO Anthony W. Montgomery. “Our powerful, affordable core platform can have a big impact on credit union operations, and ultimately on the member experience.”
