FORT COLLINS, Colo.–Elevations Credit Union said it is now officially underway with its redevelopment of the much-anticipated Old Town Fort Collins site located at 221 E. Mountain Ave. Elevations Credit Union has contracted with Fort Collins-based design-build firm The Neenan Co. and has broken ground on the site, with an approximate completion date planned for Q1 2021.
ECU said the endeavor continues a longstanding relationship between itself and its design/build partner, which has overseen several of Elevations Credit Union’s projects across the Front Range, including the Fort Collins Midtown branch. The Midtown branch was a redevelopment project in an area experiencing resurgence and represented Elevations Credit Union’s first freestanding branch in Fort Collins.
Much like the Midtown outlet, the Old Town location will be designed to reflect the surroundings and lifestyles of the northern Colorado community, including interior finishes made of sustainable materials and local Fort Collins artwork, the credit union said.
“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with The Neenan Co. on such an important project,” said Michael Calcote, Elevations CFO. “We believe that together we will be able to create a culture and design that represents the Elevations Credit Union brand, while maintaining and celebrating the beauty of Old Town Fort Collins.”
The development will provide space for Elevations Credit Union to serve more members in the Fort Collins community. The credit union will occupy approximately 3,000 square feet on the first floor with a full-service branch offering consumer and business banking, mortgage loans, business loans and wealth management. In addition, Elevations will host community events and financial seminars in its second-floor space.
