“MEMBERS Development Company continuously drives positive change within the industry, and I’m thrilled to join the team. MDC has a rich history of delivering smart, meaningful and innovative solutions to its credit union and CUSO owners,” said Jones. “I’m excited for the challenges and opportunities ahead and look forward to contributing to MDC’s ongoing success.”

Her knowledge and experience for this new role come from decades in the credit union industry and having held positions of leadership across sales, marketing, lending, product management, insurance, and business development, the company said.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Kristen onto our team,” said Jeff Kline, MDC’s president and CEO. “The incredibly rapid growth we’ve experienced and the accelerated pace of the work we do made it both a possibility and necessity. With so many exciting things going on at MDC, we needed someone to put a special focus on both our existing relationships and the ones we build as we continue to develop new solutions for the credit union industry. Kristen brings enthusiasm and passion for the work we do, as well as the right mix of experience and demonstrated success essential for this role.”

Zimmer had served as MDC’s director of finance for several years. He retains responsibility for overseeing the company’s finances, budgets, and investments.

"His new title also reflects his responsibility for (and success in) overseeing the entirety of MDC's project portfolio as the company’s project manager. This accolade comes on the heels of the remarkable success he's had with transforming MDC's Innovation Council into NextUP, the credit union industry’s preeminent innovation training and development opportunity," the company said.

“MDC wouldn’t be the vibrant company it is today without Kent’s influence. His passion for innovation and his energy for getting things done for our credit unions drive so many of the successes we’ve achieved,” said Kline. “We are pleased to announce his well-deserved promotion.”
