PSCU’s Lumin Digital Joins Amazon Web Services Partner Network

SAN RAMON, Calif.–Lumin Digital, a PSCU company, said it has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network as an Advanced Technology Partner.

The AWS Partner Network is a global program focused on providing business, technical, marketing and go-to-market support to APN members as they build successful AWS-based businesses and solutions. Achieving Advanced Technology Partner status recognizes Lumin Digital as a company that has demonstrated its proficiency as a cloud-native financial services platform and is following critical best practices for a financial institution’s success in the cloud through a rigorous technical validation performed by AWS Solution Architects, the company said.

“To be recognized as an APN Advanced Technology Partner further validates that Lumin Digital is leading the pack with our cloud-based offering,” said Jeff Chambers, President of Lumin Digital. “At Lumin Digital, we are committed to providing our credit union partners with the most efficient, safe and effective digital banking services and solutions for their members. This distinction is another step toward ensuring our credit unions’ members are receiving the unparalleled member experiences they have come to know and expect from a company backed by the nation’s premier credit union service organization, PSCU.”

Seeking Scale

From the outset, Lumin Digital said it architected its digital banking solution to securely scale in the cloud. “By leveraging AWS, Lumin Digital is able to quickly deliver features that provide new, engaging member experiences through a fast-feedback software development process without the traditional deployment downtime challenges of legacy ‘lift-and-shift’ solutions,” the company said.

Lumin Digital added its highly scalable, single-tenant architecture on AWS provides strong security assurance while leveraging advanced automation for predictable success.

In addition to fulfilling the requirements to achieve APN Advanced Technology Partner status, Lumin Digital said it is also working closely with AWS to adopt new cloud-native technologies that will empower credit unions to receive regular updates for new features, on their own timelines

“Through the AWS Partner Network, Lumin Digital has the opportunity to continue to innovate and grow with the support and expertise of AWS,” said Sean McElroy, Chief Information Security Officer of Lumin Digital. “We are committed to continuing to work with key third-party organizations like AWS to ensure our technology meets the highest standards in security processes and cloud-based financial interactions.”

‘Seamless Access’

As a PSCU company, Lumin Digital said its offering provides seamless access to a wide array of PSCU platforms and services, including card services, data analytics and contact center support.

“As a cloud-based digital banking platform built using market-leading technology, Lumin Digital provides members of credit unions with a tightly integrated and customized experience that rivals the offerings available from big banks,” the company said. “In creating a truly personalized journey, Lumin Digital delivers credit unions enlightened engagement, increased value and deepened relationships, all with the security and speed the cloud offers. Consumers Credit Union and ACU of Texas were announced as the first credit unions to partner with Lumin Digital earlier this year with additional partnership announcements forthcoming.”
