Three More Underground Collisions Scheduled for 2019

SAN DIEGO–Mitchell Stankovic & Associates has announced a 2019 slate of its “Underground Collision” conferences. The next is to take place April 14 in San Diego in conjunction with NACUSO’s Annual Conference, followed by a Collision July 27 in the Bahamas in conjunction with the World Credit Union Conference, and a final Collision in Las Vegas Oct. 27 at the Money 20/20 Conference.

More than 150 people attended the first Underground Collision this year held in Washington at the historic Hay-Adams Hotel.

In San Diego, “The Underground Collision is bringing together diversity of opinion and passionate and authentic discussions of credit union relevancy from a CUSO perspective,” said Mitchell Stankovic.

According to the company, in line with the Collision’s uniqueness is its ever-changing format, the meeting will include facilitation by “credit union legacy instigator” Sarah Canepa Bang, and will also feature “three Great Underground Debates,” including CUSO For Profit vs For Credit Union, the Fintech Hype vs. a Game Changing Partner, and Sustainable Marijuana Member Business Lending vs a Taxi Medallion-like Bubble.

Preaching PLUS Practicing

The meeting will “ensure that preaching includes practicing,” Mitchell Stankovic said. “Three panels of credit union leaders will engage among themselves and the audience on the very issues that threaten the life blood of credit unions.”

The Underground Collision will also include its popular speed-dating roundtables, during which “distinguished topic leaders give equal voice to all Colliders as they candidly share real life experiences.”
